Big Buddy is an organisation matching adult male mentors with boys who have no fathers in their lives. They work with the simple philosophy that boys need good male role models to become good men. Unfortunately, many boys do not have a father or other male role model. Big Buddy finds these boys a male mentor, fostering a long-term relationship similar to that of a good uncle.
Birthright Kapiti works with single parent families on the Kapiti Coast, whose youngest child is under 16 years and who choose to be part of our services. We have fieldworkers who work with families in a professional and holistic manner. Birthright Kapiti embraces the community we live and believes that it takes a village to raise a child. We like to give our families the tools to enable them to seek out resources in the future. We will walk along side you during this journey.
