Men’s Group Kapiti
Men’s Group Kapiti generally meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at 5:30 (snacks) for 6:00-8:00pm.
Men’s Group Kapiti seeks to provide a space where men can come and share in confidence – to be supported and challenged in the trusting and safe company of other men who are dedicated to becoming their best in all aspects of life.
We invite exploration of personal integrity, accountability and connection to feeling. We do this with simple group discussions and activities that encourage awareness and authenticity. At men’s group you can talk about your highs and your lows, the celebrations and the nitty-gritty. We also want to promote the idea that we can each offer unique gifts of service to our loved ones and communities.
Men’s Group is not a religious group or a spiritual new age group or a youth group or a gay or straight group. All men are welcome to attend irrespective of age, faith, race or sexual orientation.
Men’s Group Kapiti started in November 2012, inspired by the success of Men’s Group Wellington which meets fortnightly in central Wellington, and intends to meet fortnightly on the other Tuesdays! We acknowledge the Mankind Project New Zealand for their collective service in awakening Kiwi men to their potential. Viryam Robertson felt the need to establish this group after attending an MKP training event (the New Warrior Training Adventure) in Auckland, and is in gratitude to Joseph Nicholls, Aaron Packard and Ian Young from the Wellington group as well as all the other MKP men.
We hope that belonging to this group will provide you with added vision and purpose as a man, while making awesome connections to a fun and supportive network of conscious fellow men, right here in Kapiti.
